Hi, I am a Licensed Professional and Certified Biblical Counselor. I have a strong desire to help others have a change of heart, mind, and spirit! I have a passion for working with individuals who want to improve their lives and find meaning and purpose in their lives. I strive to instill hope, perseverance, and biblical truth to help clients reach their goals and find the root of their problems.
As a professional counselor, I incorporate biblical principles into the therapeutic approach. A person’s spiritual and emotional health are interconnected, and because of this, addressing both the spiritual and psychological aspects is essential for overall well-being.
I believe the client-therapist relationship is a critical factor in the process and outcome of treatment. I see my clients as unique individuals and tailor my techniques and approach to meet their specific needs. This process is done by using various counseling theories, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, humanistic therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I received my master’s degree from Angelo State University and Texas A&M-San Antonio. I earned a Certificate in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with school- age children, adolescents, and adults and providing couples counseling through church ministries.
I have been called to this work from my own experience of finding healing and forgiveness through Christ.
